Dairy Farm Tour

This morning we took a tour of the only dairy farm on the island. They are well-known on the island for their goat cheeses, goat milk products, honey, and organic fruits and vegetables. The kids loved petting, holding, and playing with the baby goats. These goats were 7-10 days old. We also petted the mama goats, saw the milking parlor, learned how they make goat cheese, saw their beehives from a distance, and learned about their chickens.

The baby goats...

Mama goats...
The chickens - they live in the banana trees and help to fertilize the trees.

The bags hanging are goat cheese...
