Conquer the Dragon's Lair!!

This afternoon was the kick off of our church's annual Corn Maze. The theme this year: Conquer the Dragon's Lair. Along with the corn maze, there were other fun activities for kids.

Daniel and Hannah picked a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

Our next stop was the corn maze. To go along with the theme, the maze was in the shape of a dragon.

Daniel and his friend Ty had many discussions about which way we should go.

After about 45 minutes, we made it out of the corn maze. We kept going in circles at the beginning and couldn't quite find our way. On top of that, we got split up from the friends we were with. We were fortunate to find two high school students with a map and the confidence that they knew which way to go. So, we followed them for a little while and then finally emerged on our own. Yeah!!!

Along with the corn maze, there was a kiddie maze and a bounce house. Towards the end, the kids were in the bounce house and Hannah got knocked in the mouth. After a few tears and a little blood, she's okay but has a fat lip to show for it. :) You can kind of see it in the picture.
