Touring Around Oahu

Tuesday we toured around Oahu and checked out a couple of places as recommended by some friends. After our busy day we met up with our friends for supper. It was great to see the Gady gang again. Both of our families moved from Washington, Iowa to Hawaii last year!

One of our stops was Waimea Falls. It was a great walk back to the waterfall. We had a great time swimming. Hannah got her feet a little wet and then watched the rest of the time. I even went out to the waterfall and I can't swim! The water was 30 feet deep but I made it! Good thing for a life vest and a board! Daniel loved it so much he didn't want to get out! We also made a stop at Malakehana Beach.

We enjoyed a late lunch at Crouching Lion. Here the kids are with the lion.

The restaurant had a pet parrot that Hannah was pretty fond of.

Here is a picture of a ranch on Oahu. Jurassic Park, scences from LOST, and other shows/movies were filmed here. For all you LOST fans, Hurley's golf course is on this ranch. So cool to see! (Ok, I didn't get to really see any part of the ranch except from the road. But it would be fun!)
