Halloween Fun

Happy Halloween! We've had a festive Halloween weekend. Friday night we joined friends at their church's Halloween night. We enjoyed supper, games, prizes, and Trunk-or-Treating.

Hannah has had alot of fun with her eyeball glasses...

Saturday we carved our pumpkin. We were told to not carve pumpkins until the day before or the day of Halloween. Otherwise, the pumpkin would just cave because of the weather here. I was sure the kids would love to get their hands messy and help clean out the inside of the pumpkin.

This first picture is deceiving. It looks as if Hannah is really into cleaning out the pumpkin. However, in reality, both kids would pick out a couple of seeds and complain because their hands were messy. Who would have thought?!?!?

Since Daniel and Hannah didn't want to get their hands dirty, they tried to scoop out the insides.

Posing with the pumpkin...

I told them to show me their scary faces. They look scary, right?? :)

The kids were very excited for trick-or-treating! We joined some friends for supper and then all headed out around our neighborhood together.

The girls are ready to go!
Group photo - they were all excited to go trick-0r-treating! A fun night with friends and lots of candy!
