Camping at the Beach

A new adventure for us! We went camping at Queen's Pond this weekend with a group of people from our church. We headed to the beach yesterday morning (Saturday) and left late afternoon today. Two days and one night at the beach was fun, exciting, and tiring! We had such a blast with everyone and I'm sure we'll be doing more camping.

Our friend Renee caught this fish and Hannah was intrigued by it. She loved looking at the fish and was so excited to touch it.

Hannah has an obvious love for fish. There were tons of little fish in the shallow water. Hannah found a few that she could easily catch (in other words, that were dead) and carried them around. Here's Hannah and one of her fishies.

Playing at the beach is hard work...

We had wonderful food during our camping trip and it tended to be a grazing fest all day long.

We enjoyed alot of time playing in the water. There were a couple of boys close to Daniel's age that he had a great time with.

The beauty of Kauai...

The kids didn't last long once we left the beach. :) What a great weekend with fantastic friends!
