This morning the kids and I ventured to Salt Pond Beach in Hanapepe. The plan was to play in the water and the sand. However, much to our disappointment, a sign was posted that alerted beach goers to the fact that jellyfish were in the area and that swimming was not advised. So, we set up camp and just played in the sand for awhile. A family that arrived shortly after us quickly found two jellyfish right by the water. We were bummed we couldn't swim, but had a good time playing in the sand for awhile.
