Daily we are reminded of the beauty God created on this island paradise. From our house we have an ocean view and it's so peaceful to look out and see the calmness of the ocean. The mountains are also all around us. Last night our church had a party to celebrate the church's birthday. On the way to church I made Curt pull over so I could take a picture of the rainbow over the mountains. It was just gorgeous!
This evening we went to a full moon BBQ at Lydgate Park/beach. There is a group called Ohana Mamas on the island that get together for playdates and other gatherings. I joined the group not too long ago so this was the first event we went to. Most of the events are during the day but this was an evening event for the family. Most of the families we met live more on the north side of the island. The full moon was beautiful over the ocean. The kids had fun playing on the beach before we ate and came out of it a sandy mess. All the same, it was a perfect night to be at the beach and take in the beauty God has given us.
