Our church has an annual corn maze and the theme this year is "Pirates of the Corn." We took the kids this afternoon and walked through the pirate-shaped maze. Daniel was our fearless leader and was more than willing to decide which way we should go. The kids, especially Daniel, were all about searching for the treasure. Daniel was guessing the treasure might be toys. He may have been a little disappointed that the treasure was actually getting to the end, but he quickly got over it. The church also had a keiki (kid) maze at the church that the kids crawled through with flashlights. At the end of that maze was an inflatable bounce game which the kids also enjoyed. Even though we've always lived in the midwest, we've never been to a corn maze until moving to Hawaii. Strange huh?

It is great following your blog. Love the pictures.....I swear the kids have grown six inches since we last saw them. Sounds like they are enjoying the "adventure". The weather looks great....I am sure you are already thinking about how much your are going to miss the Iowa winters.
ReplyDeleteGive Hannah and Daniel a hug for us. We miss you guys a bunch.
Dad and me are doing fine....we plan to go to the Missouri-Texas game this weekend. Hopefully we will be able to stay in the game.
Talk to you soon.
