Today we took the kids to Lydgate Park in Kapaa. They have a wonderful beach with part of it being very kid-friendly. It's protected by rocks so it's very calm water and not too deep. The kids had such a great time playing in the water and in the sand. Lydgate Park also has a wonderful wooden playground set so the kids had fun there for awhile after swimming. It was a great family day.
Hannah tuned two on Tuesday and I swear she knows she's older and acts accordingly. Two days this week she decided not to take a nap but instead proceeded to play in her room, check out everything in the closet, and be really chatty with herself. She has even taken to be a displinarian. The other day at lunch she told her apple slice it was in time out. Then yesterday she told her milk, "Ok. You be nice milk." Out of the mouths of babes.
We have most of our furniture now. Next week we should get part of our shipment from Iowa so we'll have more to unpack and find a place for.
We have found a church here were really like, Kauai Christian Fellowship. It has contemporary worship services and lots of activities going on. Curt is going to a men's bible study on Thursday nights and I'm going to a women's bible study on Friday mornings.
It's almost 11:00 p.m. now and time to call it a night!
